FROG ID please

Postby equilibrium » Thu Feb 27, 2014 8:00 pm

Could anyone correctly ID this as either a (tree) frog or a toad?
Area : Gauteng West Rand.
Size : +- 2.5cm snout to tail
Can climb vertical surfaces. Found in bathroom which is +- 1m above the ground so must be quite mobile.
I have lots of clear photos of different angles, but when reduced to a size acceptable to this forum they loose all clarity so I can email them instead if necessary.

I'm no expert but I think its a Guttural toad.

It is a Red Toad (Scismaderma carens). Very common on the highveld.
