FROG ID please

Postby HomerS » Fri Apr 11, 2014 7:21 pm

Hi Guys,
I am new to the forum, and have been shutting up and learning most the time. :D I am more of a snake person, and know absolutely nothing about amphibians and frogs. I came across some of these frogs in a puddle against the Gordon’s Bay Mountain Western Cape the other day. Can anybody please assist me in identifying it, and are they fully grown or still babies? :?:

Probably Clicking stream frogs, Strongylopus grayii? At that size they'd be sub-adult. Another possibility is the Cape river frog which is a much larger species with shorter toes on the back foot and more webbing between the toes. Any experts?
