Does this snake's genus occur in any other continent except Africa?

@Westley, the genus only occurs in Africa.
Second clue: the genus it was previously classified under had only two species.

Nope not a file snake.
Third clue: It has a very similar threat display to one of our highly venomous snakes in South Africa.

Hmmm, I recon I have got the Genus, now just to guess the species.

Close enough Westley, it gets annoying to go into subspecies.
The Splendid Dagger-Toothed Tree snake - Thrasops aethiopissa aethiopissa(as at most recent classification I could find)

Okay, my turn!
Although this reptile looks fairly insignificant on first glance, it has one special adaptation which one cannot see which makes it very unique in the reptile world.
It belongs to a genus with a MASSIVE amount of species, but even within it's own genus, it is still "special."
