Does the unique trait have something to do with breathing?

Clue for the day: the animal is patterned with longitudinal stripes and occurs in the DRC, Angola and Zambia.

Nope sorry.

Today's clue. The adaptation is something relating to the anatomy of the female of the species.

Trachylepis ivensii.

I think I got it this time. Very weird human like trait.

Yup, you got it.

Trachylepis ivensii is the only (or at least the only known) creature which is not a mammal to feed it's unborn young with a true placenta instead of the typical yolk used by other reptiles.

Here is a little article describing this amazing adaptation:

My Geographic Range has seemingly no limits.
And this is why I am unique in a certain way?!

It might be to easy!.
There is something that is much more scarce, something finer by far , something rarer than ability.
It is the Ability to recognise Ability
