Gecko/lizard/dragon identification needed

Postby nadia353 » Fri Aug 22, 2014 9:50 pm

Hi! I came home tonight and found a little visitor in my bathroom. Can someone please tell me what it is? Its not very "wild", I think it might have escaped from someone or somewhere....

Hi Nadia

This is one of the indigenous Agama sp. If you tell us the location it was found maybe we can ID it down to species level, but I think it's a Southern Rock Agama.

It is most certainly wild and not someone's pet. They are relatively common in the right areas.

Lucky to find them in your garden/house.

Yeah I am sure it will be fine. It probably grew up in the area.
