Carbodust for Mites

I was wondering if carbodust would work for snake mites? As I know a few bird breeders use carbodust in their birds nesting boxes to get rid of mites without affecting the birds, so would it do the same for snakes without affecting the snakes?

I personally prefer to use frontline, but karbadust should work.

DO NOT dust the animals with Karbadust but it can be used around the cage and in the form of dust (applied with a paint brush) to the tops and corners of the cages themselves.
It is easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.

Those who are afraid to ask are ashamed of learning.
