What is this?

The bf and I are in an argument over as to what this is. I do not agree with him killing it but he said he couldn't take the chance with their dogs and all the fam there and battling to try contain it.

Looks to be a herald of sorts? Sorry its the only picture he took. Says eyes were orangish and inside of mouth was dark.

Thank you - any advice for if we come across any other inside the house? garden is not an issue, just stay away, but heralds are mildy poisonous correct? Would it harm our other animals ?

Venomous, not poisonous. Totally harmless to humans.

I can't comment on the dog issue really, but as far as I know pugs are too lazy to chase anything anyway. Unless threatened no snake will just lash out and bite. My bal python rides around on my Jack Russell's back like it's the most natural thing in the world.

Wil not harm any of the dogs, what area was the snake caught, I am sure we could help you with a number to catch problem snakes at your house.

Have been bitten Multiple times without any symptoms... just as a confirmation. ;)
