Kastanies & Mandarins

Kastanies & Mandarins

Postby Chantel » Fri Feb 06, 2015 12:31 pm

Well, it's official ... what we were calling Java's and Tangerines are in fact Kastanies and Mandarins! :-? We sent some to Don from SMR a few years ago, and after a few breeding trials he's now confirmed that they are in fact Kastanies. It is amazing how similar they look to anerys and snows as hatchlings, and how they change colour after a few sheds.

So, here are some motley babies from the first clutch to have hatched:

Every good story seems to begin with a snake.
