We found this Lycophidion capense while moving a pile of building rubble on the farm. The snake was good enough to sit still for a few shots before being released again.

Thank you levi_20 and reptile. They are shy snakes that cover their heads under their coils like a spring when they feel threatened.

I am yet to find a Wolf Snake, haha. Funny how all herpers still have a relatively common species to check off their list.

My snake still to find or even just see is a Spotted Bush Snake. :shock:

Mitton, I can help you out with Spotted bush snakes. Must easier than M. oenpelliensis ;)

Thanks, I did not measure the Wolf snake but I recall it was about 35-40cm.
