Hi Guys,
My brother has a holiday home in Belfast Mpumalanga where he spends as much time as possible. He is big into fly fishing and the area obviously is perfect for fly fishing. Not that I have any idea about fly fishing. My Brother on the other side is not a herper. On Saturday 2015-02-28, he caught two Bass. He is normally a catch and release kind of guy, but like the rest of us does eat some times. So these two Bass was dinner.
So Upon gutting them, he found a snake within the one’s stomach.
These photographs were taken with his mobile phone. He is still over there, and does not have all the possible technology to his disposal, but he did take some photographs of the snake with his camera. He will forward them to me once he is able to download them.
I only know from a venomous perspective, you can find Rinkhals (Hemachatus haemachatus), Puff adder (Bitis arietans), and Snouted cobra (Naja annulifera) in the area. I have no idea what non venomous can be found here.
Any ideas?
