Postby Giles975 » Mon Jul 20, 2015 5:13 pm

Hi all am interested in breeding ball pythons, just want to do my research before i do anything.
Would just like to know what process would you have to go through to legally breed and sell ball pythons.
my ball pythons are on permit. do you need to "register" the new babies or do you just need 2 apply for a transport permit to the new owner.
Am in the western cape, Thanks.

Do you have a captivity permit from Cape Nature to keep your collection? If you do, just keep a record of the babies born/sold/bought. They will be added/removed from your captivity permit when Cape Nature does an inspection for renewal every two years. Make sure though to apply for a transport permit whenever you sell/buy a snake.
