Some hardcore camouflage there, if it wasn't for the tail I don't think I'd be able to find it. The geckos are very pretty.

On that picture with the Typhlosaurus it looks as if you have it on a hook stick. Nice finds

Well done Westley, that Dipsina is special find.

Really wonderful finds, thanks for sharing. Did you find the snakes out and about or in hiding ?

Thanx guys.

Predator, they were all found on the road, the gecko and caudalis at night and the Dipsina during the day.

Westley i believe there are a number of "horned adder" species out there - just like "they" split up the many horned adders a few years back! I just love your pics man!!!

Chopper1, I find that easy to believe. I've seen photos of some very deviant caudalis from Namibia.

Thank Chopper.

I met up with Bill Branch last time he was in Namibia couple of months ago and he confirmed there were definitely more than one species of single horned adder.

I am just unsure if anyone is working on describing these.

Well it's official, spring is here ;)

After making a cup of coffee at the office yesterday, I walked outside just to see one of our technicians bowed over a little bush in a little garden area outside our office.

I asked him what he was looking at and he mumbled something about n "kleurling" which I thought was strange and just carried on sipping my java while paying little attention to him.

Couple of minutes I noted he was still there so I decided to go have a look. I thought he may have dropped something, but when I arrived he was looking at this big guy. What a pleasant surprise.

Amazing finds, Westley! Things are looking good this season for you so far. That Cham is something else.
