which corns to choose??

Postby gary57 » Thu Feb 01, 2007 1:44 pm

I am getting 2 more corn snakes, problem is which ones?? I like both the butter and the creamsicil stripes, now do I get 1 of each or a pair?? I am not really in it for the money so what they breed isnt very important although I would like to breed some thing nice. Just my snakes are on display and want the cage to look good with all the different colours. I have candycane, sunglow motley, snow and normal.

I would get an albino striped and then put that with the candycane so that you can produce albino candycanes. That will be a stunning snake.

I have no idea how the flourescents will look as adults but they could be interesting to throw into the mix you have.

Rather get a pair of butters and then breed them with each other. That way you know what you are getting. T mix them with any f the others you have does not really make sense as I dont think you will get anything visual in the next generation or even the one after that.

lol I agree! Almost got sucked into the whole what's best to breed to what thing and almost bought something I didn't particularly fancy! lol

I decided to buy what I like rather than what would go well with my breeding plan! lol

I just got a STUNNING butter, a GORGEOUS Fluorescent Red (as a gift from Chantel and Gavin) also getting a Caramel het Hypo and possibly (I am VERY tempted) a Amel stripe too! :D

I got a butter and a creamsicle stripe. These are such stunning snakes I couldnt choose so took one of each. They both are eating very well and are very active, thanks again Chantel.
