You are supposed to use the polybox instead of the fishtank! It is water proof and insulated.

Place the container on the bricks in the water and the heater in the water of the polybox.

Ok the incubator is sorted and seems to be functioning properly.

Checked this morning and the probe for temp reader says 32 and its in the vermiculite and from what i could gather just out side the vermiculite which most of the eggs are its slightly colder so im aiming to maintain 32 in the vermiculite and hopefully the eggs will sit around the 30-32 mark. I had to improvise as the polystyrene container i cut wasn't big enough to hold eggs and the reason why i cut it in first place was because the container was soo big it didn't fit in the fish tank. All the eggs were stuck together and came out in a huge ball i kept exactly as they were and transferred. I think there is around 20.

Taking the mother away from her eggs was challenging shame i actually feel bad she gave me a right go :-) and this morning she was still twitching and looking for them in her tank SHAME JADE!!!

Ill monitor her and hopefully she will eat on the weekend.

Bye the way all eggs look good bar one it actually stinks and is going blue, i tired to gently remove today but its stuck to the others how am i going to do this?

Thanks for all the help guys today i feel a lot more content besides the guilt still remaining from taking Jade away from her babies haha shame she doesn't look happy.

Pics to follow.

Take the mother out the cage, wash her down and wash the cage down to clear up any smells. You will see she should be fine after that.

Good luck!

Eggs are actually living entities in their own right and have their own immune system. Having a dead egg next to a live egg is not too much of a problem however if the dead one attracts insects then they could attack the live eggs.

Cut the egg away with a sharp blade or scissors but make sure that you do not allow the contents to mess on any other eggs. If it is dead with a bit of wiggling it should come loose and then you do not have to cut it out.

As i said I had to improvise as the polystyrene box inside the tank was too small for the eggs and before i cut it it was too big anyway i can't see it being problem. I taped the remaining polystyrene around the glass for extra insulation.

Hy man.
Looking good!
Just one Q what is the humidity at?The eggs look a bit dry (hard to really tell from the pics) As long as the humidity is high they will absord all the humidity they need.
Cant wait till they hatch though!
Cheers

Well its sitting at 90% in the incubator now so surely that is enough i read that between 80-100% is good is that correct for burms?

If you can you can try dental floss to remove the egg gently cutting it loose.
