a whole load of corn breeding questions

Postby the fox » Wed Nov 07, 2007 6:15 pm

I am on the hunt for some corns to breed next year, so i came across this site called creatures and critters were they had a good bunch of yearlings. So i phone this guy who was very helpful, but it really made more questions than the start so here they are:

He said it is possible to ship them from there and i would cost me about R200, now is this per snake or for the two.

They were yearling so if i fed them right could i expect a bunch of eggs next season?

But the main thing was my plan was to buy a female crimson corn for R600 and a ghost for R450, but i told him my plan and he said that if i bred them only normal corns would be produced, is this true?

If so i have made a list of corns i would like and what two should i put together to make the most exotic hachlings?

Ok the postage is for both. Yes you could breed them next year but don't expect alot of eggs. It's all about genetics! Find out what they're het for. What i suggest you do is google corn snake genetics. You'll learn all you need to know about breeding them from google.

Ask him.

A 10 minute browse around on the site produced this:-
