Gaboon69: wait for it to mature, when it gets a black head squeeze it out, then feed the worm to your bearded dragon

Don't scratch it and don't squeeze before it is fully grown. If I may ask, where is it?

I just threw up in my mouth a little bit. I would grab a blunt kombuis knife and cut the bugger out right there.

Good luck with your new little friend.

Mine was still reasonably small, and my mom squeezed it real real hard, so the worm popped out. Do you also get those sharp stinging pains Gaboon?

Anyone have a Sawyer Extractor or Venomex which they claim sucks out snake venom. That should suck the maggot out rather quickly. The old snake bite kits also have a similar device in them.

Whatever you do don't pop, pull or suck it out before it is ripe and ready. If it breaks up under the skin you can get an infection.

The black bit is his bum, he breathes through it if I'm not mistaken?

I have heard that you can use something like Vasaline to cover the wound an suffocate the thing. Not too sure if that is a good idea or even if it would work?

I used to apply vaseline to my dog when he had mango fly. I cant really remember how effective it was and whether or not I used something that worked faster

If you let one of those Mango maggots live in you for more than 3 weeks you become sterile.
