Yes, considering my female B. caudalis ate the last two males she was with.... Total cost in $1500...she has expensive dining habits.

Beat me to it BV, yes they have tendency toward cannabilism, perhaps not as pronounced as caudalis but babies should be separated.

Was away on business but will try to get them all to feed again tonight. I'm not working with anything tonight that I don't have A/V on hand. The weather is bad (Ice/snow) and no flying in serum if needed. Yikes!!

Phobos there is no AV for this species in any case. Getting to the hospital might be a problem in that weather but there is not too much they can do besides pain relief and watching for allergic reactions.

Yes, I know that. B. cornuta is just one of many species I keep with this same exact problem. However, that said, although SAVP Polyvalent is not specific there may be some cross reactivity but that's an unknown area. I've been after some of the venom research labs to actually quantify exactly what serums cross react with what species. For instance, is is said that Echis A/V also works well for Atheris but no one has tried this in the lab to see but it's used for bites with some good results here in the US. The only labs willing to do this sort of important work are Military labs. I have one paper from a DOD lab with tests the ability of SAVP Poly against the venom of Boulengerina. It works very well against B. annulata but just is OK against B. christyi, this paved the way for me to add them to my collection.

Cheers!
