Yes, I know that. B. cornuta is just one of many species I keep with this same exact problem. However, that said, although SAVP Polyvalent is not specific there may be some cross reactivity but that's an unknown area. I've been after some of the venom research labs to actually quantify exactly what serums cross react with what species. For instance, is is said that Echis A/V also works well for Atheris but no one has tried this in the lab to see but it's used for bites with some good results here in the US. The only labs willing to do this sort of important work are Military labs. I have one paper from a DOD lab with tests the ability of SAVP Poly against the venom of Boulengerina. It works very well against B. annulata but just is OK against B. christyi, this paved the way for me to add them to my collection.
