Two babies hatched from my clutch of eggs the parents are a green Burmese and an albino. The interesting thing is the guy in the top of the pic. I thought all of the babies would look normal and carry the albino and green gene clearly everything i read was wrong the snake at the top is odd but amazing.

I still have a whole bunch of perfect looking eggs can it take longer for other eggs to hatch as these were on top in the incubator and hatched on christmas day? Surely those good looking eggs will hatch soon too?

Bye the way both of them are quite nippy :-)

Thanks a lot I can't believe the markings its almost like a patternless brown Burmese. To me its got the patterns of a green obviously slightly more patterns than a green but then retains that brown colour. Strange but so nice.

I'm sure they'll start coming around now...being a gecko enthusiast i think someone who deals with large boids should let you know.

Congrats Gmoth, it's been a long wait and I hope the others hatch for you.
Not experienced in breeding oviporous but shouldn't one or 2 of the other eggs be cut to check the embryos?

gmoth they should be cut open right away.

Cut a lttle triangular flap in the top of the eggs and just prod the baby gently to see if it is still alive.

The albino is obviously hetero for patternless too.

Thanks for the info Bushviper i will do that as soon as i get home. I went to see the parents of my albino's and they were both pure albino's unless i was lied to which i doubt. Something weird happened with that snake but hey im not complaining :-)
