Burm unhappy?

Ive had my burm for 1jr now since a baby hes +-1m long. He ate pups and then small rats for about 7-8months then he stoped eating and was very restless his cage was a bit small so i got him a bigger one that he can stretch out in. He is still restless! I dewormed him and now he will only eat a adult mouse! His temps are 24c cold side and 28-29c warm side humidity 60% he has two hides and a plant. Why would he still be so restless? He refuses to take a rat or even 2 mice. What can i do?

Have you checked for external parasites, such as mites? Sometimes they go unnoticed until it's pretty much too late. Snakes usually go off food and they will also be restless.

I treated him for mites aswell i use frontline and panecure to de-worm had some great results with it. So hes parasite free.
