albino burmese?

i bought a baby albino burmese at the expo an the guy said shes eating ect,shes very tiny and has lots of white and verry little orange compared to her clutch mates. a nother guy mentiond she looked freshly hatched. how can i tell and what should i do? i offerd a rat pup today but she wasnt intrested.

It is kinda small, but give it some time to adjust. Try in 3 or 4 days again. Make sure the temps are good, and give it nice hiding spots

thankx. im keeping everything spot on temps and humidity.im not handling her.she moves around in her Cage ect.

How big is the cage you have it in? What are the temperatures on the warm side, and the cool side?

Rule of thumb, you should leave it for 10 days before attempting to feed it. First let the little fella settle.

The cage is 50cm long 38 h and 30 wide. Cold side 23c warm 28c humidity 60%. Yeah i know they should settel but she looks "paperig" so i thought food would do her good i useualy deworm and frontline new snakes but this baby seems too fragiel.

Dont deworm or frontline the snake unless it is indicated.

You can increase the hot side to 30 but make sure you have lots of hiding place near the warm and cold sides.

My babies are being raised in a medium addis tub and they take dead rats from tweezers. The cage size should be enough for the next few months and then you can look for a bigger cage.

Dont handle it for the next week and dont even bother it. Find out from whoever you bought it from what it was eating and was it alive, dead or defrosted. When did they offer food (day or night) and did they tease feed or just drop it in.

try feed it a small mice. what i have found is the mouse jumps around and triggers a feeding response where a rat pup just lies there. also put it in a small dark box so it is in reach of the mouse. as they say give it a day or 2.

If I judge by the size it looks like a newly hatched baby! Keep the temps correct and give it a couple of days before trying to feed again. As Tony said, a mouse may easier trigger a feeding response. Keep us posted!

a update on my baby albino burm..she ate two days ago yay! but ive noticed that she has a white tounge,is this normal or sumting to worry about? as i mentiond before she looked dif from her other clutch mates,she had the least colour a lot of white and almost no orange. but shes doing a lot better more energy and a bit more plump.
