Very nice specimens.

The Mehelya will always have problems shedding its skin if you keep them on gravel. They like soft substrates (mulch) with a very high humidity but low temperatures. They also need something to burrow under.

Hi,
the gravel is only around the water. They got a wet box to burrow (with mulch and high humidity)and they like them.
Nevertheless thank you for this advice.

Okay aspis I was just worried a bit there as I also keep these and nearly lost one due to the cage being too hot and dry. Now I have learnt my lesson.
