Question about Gestation on Echis carinatus

Postby bitis87 » Fri Sep 10, 2010 3:28 pm

Have anybody Papers or can tell me maybe how long the Gestationtime on Echis carinatus is?
I found only one source from the Net and one from my Book but both is a bit unbelievable in my book is one month stated, and on the source from the net it was 2 months.
Here a bit data from my girl thats maybe pregnant.

They have mated on the 3.7 and on 11.7.
And she shedded one time since that on the 26.7.
Today is the 51 day that she refuse to eat.
She drinks a lot.
And is often under the heatsource.

Which subspecies do you have? As can be both oviparous and viviparous.

Nice so now you know. How many babies were there?
