Any experience keeping slug snakes here?

Postby Dreemans » Fri Feb 27, 2015 1:30 pm

Hi,

I live in the Netherlands (Europe) and recently found the Duberria species from SA, so I guess coming here on the forum was a good idea.
For a long time I'm fascinated by slug eating snakes. Anyone here got any experience with keeping slug snakes?

Or any suggestions for an address to buy some?

Hope to hear from you.

Thanks!

I kept D.lutrix as a child.
Nothing to it - you feed them slugs, they eat it:)

Yeah, they're a piece of cake to keep if you have access to slugs.

There are talks (and pics) of a Leucistic and Albino ones in the country ;) Not sure if they're still around though.
