He's soooo cute, if you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for this little guy?

These are very nice pythons to keep. I know they look like a type of house snake but how many people have spotted house snakes.

Q ball now you must just arrange a female for Steve. They are quite possibly the easiest pythons there are to breed.

I caught a spotted house snake in one of my dad's shoes once, he ate well but was very skittish (sorry for hi-jacking the conversation!)

Very long slender body. Congrats Q Ball, good buy.

That is such a cool snake and I must admit, I have been eyeing it since the last expo and want a pair so bad.
All the best with Steve, Q ball.

Very nice Q Ball. I'm sure the person who sold him to you knew you would take good care of him.

Thanx everyone :)

He's soooo cute, if you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for this little guy?

I bought him from creatures and critters' stand and I picked him up for R 900.00. It was the last one but they did say they would have available for the expo in March ;)

I will keep checking back with them to see if I can get a sheila for steve :)

All the research I have done says that a they are as easy as corns to keep and grow to roughly 1-1.2m. Will chat to the mods to post a care sheet.

At this stage he still suffers from "everything is going to eat me" syndrome.

UPDATE:

Steve is so

He is a bit snappy and he seems to think that pooing on me will make me go away but...... He is eating nicely and has just shed this weekend (had to hand shed most of him :-? )

As with most babies, he calms right down after awhile ;)

And just to show you how much he likes climbing.
