Re: Guava Branches

Like Fooble said they the wood is quite hard if the branches is to large you can use your swimming pool and leave it in the sun to dry the chlorine would kill whatever may be living in there.

Re: Dimmer switch not dimming?

Hi,

It is true you could have bought a thermostat that is suited for the job.
The dimmers that is used for lights I am sure won't work for heat cable if you want to do that you will need a habistat and thos are quite expensive.

Re: Thinking of getting Leopard Ghecko's

Hi Bergsma, It would be a excellent choice they are the best scaled pet to keep in my opinion but sometimes we just venture off after a challenge. My setup is a basic carpet substrate (astroturf works) with a heatpad under it where the hide will be, I use two hides one dry one and a moist one the dr...

Re: Humidity?

Oh I forgot to mention to seal the wood you can use a water based outdoor varnish but it needs proper sun exposure before the reptiles can be placed back in there.

Re: Humidity?

Hi Vioveme. Firstly if you don't have a uvb light in there I suggest you get one ASAP I think you need to look in the region of the Exo-terra 5.0 or any 5.0 rating if another brand catches your fancy. There is a neat way by using a little fogger I don't know if it's used with water dragons but a mat...

I'm Sorry about the spelling I blame that on my Dutch heritage that was posted from my phone so there was no spell check. I may not know exactly what I'm talking about but I was advised by a GP that this happens. What bothers me is if a vet tells you the animal needs anti-venom why not follow that a...

Re: rinkhals vs dog

The negative effect with the eye drops is cuased by the veins if your eyes are blood shot and it replicates the consuption and cuases light headedness.

Re: rinkhals vs dog

I'm with the vet on this it oftenly happens to people when eye drops are absorbed by the veins in your eyes and there's a negative effect. Thus the same could happen to a canine.
