After a wet and windy year in the UK, we are now in Mexico. It is still the dry season so bugs are not plentiful yet but with each drop of rain more emerge. I have yet to get a decent book on identification but many of the butterflies I have seen on the garden are species that I struggled to breed many years ago in a glass house in the UK. It is a wonderful sight to see butterflies fight over the flowers with hummingbird smaller than they are!
I certainly miss the butterflies in SA but, having seen Morphos float along the road while I’m driving, I am willing to see what I can find here.
As more species take to the air I’ll get my camera out and post more photos.
