Stunning photos of some really nice snakes! I must really get a decent camera at some stage. I particularly like that very dark Irian Jaya.

This guy just shed, so 2 more pics.
When I checked the pics I found he had some skin still on his head after the shed.

Beautiful images Mitton.
The white let the colours stand out nicely and the images are sharp. The best como for the 100 mm when it comes to flashes would be the twinlight but you nailed it here anyway.

Second hand the 100mm goes for around R4500 and upwards on ODP classifieds. If you want the IS then add another R3000. New the IS is over 11k I think.

Great series of pics Eugene.

By FAAAAR, the young IJ is my favourite; the contrasting lateral and dorsal colours are just awesome. That snake will turn out a stunner!

Now just to go field herping with the new lens. Can't wait for those pics!

Ah, you got your internet sorted. Welcome back.

Thanks man, can't wait to use it when out herping.

That little IJ is actually from that black female, so wondering what he will turn out like. There are a few funny colours on some of them, will do a separate thread in a few days.
