ID Snake Please

Found this snake and 2 others of the same species at my house in Gordon's Bay. Suspect it may be a Slug Eater, though not 100% sure.

Hi Lulu

That is a Slug-eater, one of the more common species found in gardens in the Cape.

It is completely harmless and a benefit having them in the garden is that they feed on snails and slugs.

Thanks Westley, good to know. I do have a lot of snails in the garden. Only problem - I have cats, so I'd rather remove the snakes before the cats get them.
