What type is this snake?

Hi. I found this snake in my house today. Just wondering if it's by any chance venomous and if you believe I will find more than one.

Not entirely sure about the species, or what area you're from, but by the shape of the head I'd say non-venomous. Better wait for some more informed replies, lol
Happy herping :D

That's a Red lipped snake. They are a semi venomous species but their venom is not dangerous to people. They are often found near water because they eat frogs and toads. You can release the snake again.
