hi
I was preparing to feed two of my male corn snakes and the one decided I looked good enough to eat.

So after trying, he decided nope this meal is a little to big, but let him bleed a little.

There's no gratitude!!!

your hand probably smelled of the rats or mice from handling them. i once didn't wash my hands after taking out the rats and then i tried to get my fairly aggressive snake to get out of the hidebox (big cage i have climb into the cage and wait for them to come to me) usually i put my hand down then they are so interested they come out or at least closer but this time after a minute all i found was a sudden jolt of pain when the snake lunged out and got me on the finger, me reacting of course simulates a live rats witch in turn triggers the constricting of me arm. but when he felt my whole arm and realized he not just dealing with the hand he immediately let go :D

Damien - get tagged by a mole snake then you should almost have the complete set of the most painful non-venomous bites - I think the Afrok and mole snake would be at the top of my list

:D Armata it was not actually sore at all. Hence the pic, cause once he gripped he was not going to let go in a hurry. My thumb was a bit stiff the next day though.

I got tagged by a Afroc & Mole snake...and in my oppinion, the mole snake was worse, the Afroc was about 1.5m and the molesnake a tad bigger...
That habit of biting and jerking the head back makes it far worse than supposed to be...

I believe mole snakes have a notoriously nasty bite... :)
