I have several wild cape dwarf chameleons in my garden.
How does one tell the gender of each?

Here you go. From
http://www.herpcenter.com/reptile-caresheets/cape-dwarf-chameleon.htmlSexing is quite difficult; males are generally more brightly colored and have a more pronounced casque (crest) on their head. Females are bigger than males.
I'm sure one of our Cape members will be able to help you with some pictures.
