Leo Gecko ideas

Leo Gecko ideas

Postby Deem » Mon Oct 27, 2014 10:23 pm

Just wondering if anyone has used small pebbles or wood chips as a substrate before.
It will only be in a small section of the tank, ontop of tiles, away from food and poop.

Any other suggestions for a more nature look?

Thanks

Pebbles will look nice and be a lot more natural than wood chips.

They dont live in areas where there are wood chips or pebbles. They could try to eat them. Rather avoid it.

Well if you judge a substrate by that logic, surely pebbles or clay is much more natural or better looking than newspaper or something.

Actuallly the deserts they are naturally found in are clay based, as well as some alluvial soils and rocks!
