Got a request to clear a area of snakes where they have an event tommorow and found this nice Rinkhals within minutes under a old flower bucket.

Is that reddish brown colour typical for the region; I have onl ever seen banded ones in the veld i.e. KZN & W.Cape.

I think this one did a bit of digging somewhere.
This one is big and one of the heaviest that have caught.
The biggest Rinkhals that i saw was one that have been kept at Rhino and Lion park..massive girl that one! ;)
