Royal Python eggs

Hey guys woke up yesterday and discovered these

but been preparing for this for a while the incubator was built a few months ago but she surprised me and wasn't set up at all so after a flat spin and bugging chantal and gavin i got things organised, thanks for the help guys. this is the incubator.

the thermostat used conected to a fish tank heater

the digital thermometer seems to be ranging between 31.2 and 31.8 is that range acceptable for python eggs?

Are the eggs ok I candled 4 of them and they all glowed pink?

The candling sounds promising.

The temps are perfect. Lets hope there are not any surprises during the incubation period.

touch wood bv I stay in pmb who seem to be very low down on the priority list when it comes to eskom at least but hey here's hoping.

Things looking good no sign of mould or any other nasties, it's developing condendation on the lid of the container so I've started wiping that off every time I check on them.

Very well done, that condensation build up sounds good, cause you need high humidity with the eggs. Good luck and holding thumbs. I think the incubation period is about 53 days.

53 to 60 so here's hoping holding thumbs in crossed fingers toes holding breath etc... :twisted:

Just checked on the eggs yesterday and things all still looking good :-P

Keep holding your breath guys, well at least I will. Nervous first time I can only imagine what I'm gonna be like when I eventually have one of my own :twisted:

That is really stunning how long to go, I guess this time period must the longest for you. Post us some pics of the eggs.

Hey Gary will do I just gotta steal the camera from my sister again I don't have my own ver frustratin but hey, I'm trying to think how many ways I can occupy myself I'm in the middle of exams and I don't have anything to distract me, I think my snake cages have never been so clean.

As For you Lockes :evil:
